LATEST NEWS: If you are
studying this module in the Session 2000/2001. Please register here,
so that you can keep up-to-date with all the required information.
Here are the main documents that
are required for the module:
Teachers Notes (PDF).
This outlines the teaching schedule, along with the material to be
covered.
Module Organiser
(PDF).
Exam Paper 1999/2000 (PDF).
Project (UK).
This requires localization (Malaysia version - to be added).
On-line tests (Tut1, Tut2,
Tut3).
And a few other things:
Network
test. Pub challenge.
A
bit of fun. Networking hangman!
Determine
your settings. I've written a CGI script which will determine
your IP address and other network settings.
I'm just adding the on-line tests, so please check back here in a
few weeks. I intend to automatically grade the tests, and give an
instant assessment of performance. For just now, I've just made
them display the correct or incorrect answer. Also I get asked by
a lot of people about the connections to a cross-over and
straight-through network cable, thus I've included it here.
