Outline :

This project will investigate the use of next generation tools, such as using XAML, to present timelines of events related to user, machine and network activities.

Deliverables :

•  Investigation of existing time-lining tools.

•  Investigation of event log systems.

•  Investigation of next-generation visualisation tools for digital forensic timelines.

•  Definition and design of a range of experiments for timelining.

•  Implementation of a event timelining system for digital forensics.

•  Evaluation of the performance impact and trail of evidence of the system.

Standard PC with Visual S udio 2008.
