This on-line test which will demonstrate practical wireless access point (WAP) configuration skills. The main tutorials will be available on Web-CT. A mark of 10% will be awarded upon the following being configured:

1. Host name, default gateway and name server.
2. Telnet access with a defined password.
3. WWW server on the device.
4. IP address and subnet mask of the Ethernet port.
5. IP address and subnet mask of the Radio port.
6. Enables the ports.
7. SSID and channel of the access point.
8. DHCP mode.
9. Define WEP encryption.
10. Define authentication on the WAP.
11. Define the root mode of the WAP.
12. Power rating of the local and client port.
13. Antenna for its transmit and receive options.
14. Required number of associations.
